Hover Community Needs Your Help!
We are seeking a few core volunteers to donate their time and resources to Hover Community as we host a late summer evening of charity. The fundraising event is shaping up to be a fancy-dress, sit down dinner with entertainment and an inspirational speaker (and a silent auction with very cool and unique items).
Wanted: Three to four key volunteers who are well-connected in the local community and have the time and energy to co-create and execute a fundraising event in late August or early September. Volunteers must be passionate about our mission and our Elders.  Desired and helpful areas of experience include:

  • Hosting & Event Planning
  • Media Promotions & Public Relations
  • Arts & Entertainment
  • Fundraising
  • Civic Engagement
  • Elders & the Aging Industry
Please call our Executive Director at 303-772-9292 x217 for more information.

Hover Community Honored by Lowe's Hero Award!
Hover Community was recently honored as the 2010 Lowe’s Heroes award recipient, which is given to non-profits by Lowe’s Hardware. Each year Lowe's Heroes volunteer program helps to improve the communities where Lowe's employees work and live. Together, each store team identifies a community improvement project that will make a difference in their community, such as working with Habitat for Humanity® or a local public school. While projects vary by location, Lowe's Heroes volunteers share a common goal to make their communities better places to live. Thank you, Lowe’s, for helping us with our walking trail and for the donated supplies!
