We now are faced with another important challenge: our 40-year-old North elevator at Hover Manor, our independent living apartments, is out of service and requiring replacement of several expensive parts to have it running safely for our elders. This apartment complex is recognized as an outstanding senior living community and also serves low-income seniors receiving Section 8
Housing through Longmont Housing Authority. Nearly twenty residents were unable to safely use our stairway and needed to be relocated to family homes or to our Beatrice Hover Assisted Living Community. They want to come home! We are asking you to help.
The Board has started a “Lift Us Up” Campaign to encourage our local friends, neighbors, business partners, families, and others to donate to Hover Manor and help us achieve our goal of $45,000 needed to fix our elevator and bring all our residents back home.
